Red Chili Cheese Toast

Spicy, cheesy, and utterly irresistible—perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette, sliced diagonally
  • 1⁄2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1⁄2 cup (118 grams) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  •  3⁄4 cup (28 grams) cilantro, finely chopped
  •  4 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 3-4 spring onions, thinly sliced
  •  1⁄2 tbsp salt
  •   1⁄2 tbsp black pepper, ground
  •   Garnish: Masala Gossip Red Chili Masala Crisp
  •   Optional: Ketchup for serving

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Prepare your baking tray: Line it with parchment paper and place the sliced baguette

    on top. Drizzle the slices with olive oil, coating lightly.

  • Toast the bread: Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

    Remove from the oven and set aside.

  • Prepare the chili cheese mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sharp cheddar,

    cilantro, green chilies, spring onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

  • Assemble the toasts: Spread the chili cheese mixture evenly on each slice of toasted

    bread.

  • Melt the cheese: Return the slices to the oven for 1-2 minutes, broiling on high until the

    cheese has fully melted and is bubbly.

  • Garnish & Serve: Remove the toasts from the oven and top generously with Masala

    Gossip Red Chili Masala Crisp for that extra punch of flavor.
