Tikka Masala Hummus

Serves: 6

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed (reserve the liquid)

2/3 cup Masala Gossip Tikka Masala Sauce

2 cloves garlic

1 small dried or fresh chili pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil (plus extra for drizzling)

Salt, to taste

Fresh coriander, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, Masala Gossip Tikka Masala Sauce, garlic, chili pepper, and olive oil.

  • Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, gradually add the reserved chickpea liquid until you reach your desired consistency.

  • Taste the hummus and add salt as needed.

  • Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.

  • Drizzle with a little extra olive oil and garnish with freshly chopped coriander.

  • Serve the Tikka Masala Hummus with naan, pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches.
