Chana Masala
A hearty, flavorful, and comforting classic—perfectly spiced and easy to make with Masala Gossip’s Chana Masala Simmer Sauce!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 cups boiled or canned chickpeas
- 4 oz Chana Masala Simmer Sauce
- Serving of rice or naan (for serving)
Instructions:

Combine chickpeas & sauce: In a large pot, add the boiled or canned chickpeas and the 4 oz Chana Masala Simmer Sauce.

Add water & simmer: Pour in 4 cups of water, cover the pot, and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Cook until thickened: Simmer for up to 20 minutes, or until the chickpeas absorb the flavor, and the sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.

Serve hot: Pair with fresh naan or a steaming bowl of rice for the ultimate comfort food experience.

- Quick tip: If using canned chickpeas, make sure to rinse them thoroughly before adding to the sauce.
